  • Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination
  • Caribbean’s Leading Luxury Island Destination
  • Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board
  • Caribbean’s Most Romantic Destination

The Honourable Josephine Connolly, Minister of Tourism, expressed her satisfaction at the Turks and Caicos Islands’ numerous nominations for the World Travel Awards. “The Turks and Caicos Islands shine as a gem in the Caribbean, and these eight nominations underscore that distinction. Having secured victories in categories like the Caribbean’s Leading Beach Destination and the Most Romantic Destination Awards in 2023, I am confident that we can not only maintain those titles but also triumph in other categories. I encourage everyone to spread the word about our nominations and to cast their votes enthusiastically,” she remarked.

The Turks and Caicos Islands have consistently claimed the title of the Caribbean’s Leading Beach Destination since 2015, with the globally acclaimed Grace Bay Beach earning the Best Beach Award from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, the destination has been honored as the Caribbean’s Most Romantic Destination for five consecutive years.
