SDCSS and SAASS are Grenada’s 2024 Intercol champs

The 2024 Republic Bank Intercol Championships in Grenada has concluded with the St David’s Catholic Secondary School (SDCSS) emerging victorious in the girl’s division and the St Andrew’s Anglican Secondary School (SAASS) winning the championship title for the boy’s division.

Overall, in the Girls’ division, St David’s Catholic Secondary School placed first at the end of the 3-day athletics event with 205.50 points, Anglican High School finished second with 169.80 points while St Andrew’s Anglican Secondary came third with 101.50 points.

In the Boys’ division, St Andrew’s Anglican Secondary School placed first with 228.50 points, second place went to Grenada Boys’ Secondary School which accumulated 215 points while St David’s Catholic Secondary School placed third with 116 points.

Meanwhile, Annalisa Brown of Boca Secondary School who amassed 31 points was named Victrix Ludorum and Jahvid Noel of Grenada Boys’ Secondary School was named Victor Ludorum after he amassed 31 points.

The St David’s Catholic Secondary School won the 2024 Intercol march past in the Girls’ competition while Happy Hill Secondary School won the march past in the Boys’ competition.

Grenada’s Ministry of Education has issued congratulations to the Intercol 2024 winners in the boys and girls divisions, the Andrew’s Anglican Secondary School (SAASS) and the St David’s Catholic Secondary School (SDCSS), respectively.
