Rainy weather approaching some Caribbean Islands
Don’t forget your umbrellas and raincoats as heavy showers are nearing some islands.
The St Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services (SVG Met) in its 72-hour weather outlook says a tropical wave is expected to near St Vincent and the Grenadines on Monday bringing unstable conditions with moderate heavy showers and thunderstorm activity peaking overnight and early Tuesday.
SVG Met says residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should be alert.
Meanwhile, the Grenada Meteorological Services says occasional showers and a medium chance of isolated thunderstorms could affect the State of Grenada today due to the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone
It says at present convective activities (showers and thunderstorms) are being produced in the vicinity of the islands including Grenada.
