Two Kayaks have been selected for the Grenada National under-16 netball team.

Bishop’s College student Kesia Mathurine and Dejuane Bristol, of Hillsborough Secondary, will be part of the team travelling to Dominica to participate in the Jean Pierre Caribbean Youth Netball Tournament.

Minister for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government, Tevin Andrews, extends congratulations to the netballers. “It is always good when the talents of our young sports personnel from the sister isles are recognised on the national level,’’ he said.

Andrews wishes the two players, and the entire team, all the best in the 2023 tournament.

The competition opens Thursday, March 23, and runs until April 1.
