Grenada’s Anderson Peters finishes third at Doha Diamond League

Grenadian javelin champ Anderson Peters kicked off his 2024 season with a good start as he finished in third position in the Men’s Javelin Throw at the Wanda Diamond League in Doha, Qatar on Friday.  

Peters on his sixth attempt threw a distance of 86.62 metres, a Season Best, to cop third place.

Czech track and field athlete Jakub Vadlejch won the event with a throw of 88.38m, a Season Best for him.  

Second place was taken by India’s Neeraj Chopra who threw a distance of 88.36m, also a Season Best.
