Happy Birthday: Woman turns 101 years-old in Antigua
Birthday blessings are in order for Edna Parker Chiddick who turned 101 years-old in Antigua.
The Community Development and Citizen’s Engagement Division highlighted the beloved centenarian’s big day.
Edna was born on August 3, 1923, but was registered August 18, 1923. She is a proud mother of 13 children, the grandmother of 26, the great grandmother of 28 and the great great grandmother of 1.
She was married to Alfred Chiddick on August 27, 1955. The Division says Edna knows the pain of sorrow as she buried her husband and three sons but presses on.
Although there was no official celebration this year, Edna celebrated this occasion with family, friends, well-wishers and Lakeisha Adams Community Development Field Worker with responsibility for the Paynters Community.
