WINAIR reintroduces code-share agreement with KLM
Travellers in the northeastern Caribbean now have more flexibility to venture into Europe and beyond as WINAIR has announced the reintroduction of its code-share agreement with KLM.
In a post on Facebook, the St Maarten-based airline said passengers in St Barth, Saba, St Eustatius, St Kitts and Nevis, and Tortola are now able to enjoy same-day connections with the Dutch flag carrier via their hub at the Princess Juliana International Airport.
WINAIR said the codeshare arrangement offers travellers benefits such as a single ticket for their entire journey, the flexibility to check in at a KLM or WINAIR desk, and luggage tagged to their final destination.
“We are proud to collaborate with KLM, showcasing our shared commitment to safety, reliability, and exceptional service,” said Hans van de Velde, CEO of WINAIR.
The airline, which flies to over 10 destinations around the Caribbean, has other codeshare arrangements with other aviation companies including British Airways, Caribbean Airlines, JetBlue and Suriname Airways.
