Vincentian entrepreneur meets Nicki Minaj at T&T Carnival
What are the chances of meeting a huge celebrity while playing mas in T&T? Well, Vincentian entrepreneur Karen Veira had a Carnival encounter when she met Trinidadian-born rapper Nicki Minaj during the festivities.
She shared a lovely pic with the superstar singer with the following caption: “How’s ur day going???? Mine??? GREAT!!!!!!”
Veira, who is from St Vincent and the Grenadines, is the Director of Oxygen Mas, a carnival band, as well as an events promoter. Her Instagram followers immediately started asking a number of questions about her star encounter.

Vincy Mas, which is dubbed “The Hottest Carnival in the Caribbean” runs from June 30 to July 11. A contingent from the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) was in T&T to promote Vincy Mas.
Minaj returned to participate in Trinidad and Tobago’s first full carnival celebrations in two years. She also visited T&T for Carnival in 2020.
