SVG’s Shafiqua Maloney places 6th at Lausanne Diamond League

St Vincent and the Grenadines runner Shafiqua Maloney finished in sixth place in the women’s 800 metres at the Lausanne Diamond League on Thursday afternoon.

Maloney, who is competing at the event after her fourth place finish at the Paris Olympic Games, stopped the clock in 1:59.28.

The race was won by Kenya’s Mary Mora in 1:57.91.
