Sharks/Flamingo, Beaches/Eagles In TCIFA Premier League Double Header

 

Angelyn Cadet of the Sharks will be looking to put his name on the scoresheet against Flamingo

A double header will take place in the Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association (TCIFAA) Male Premier League at the TCIFA field Today, Saturday, February 18.

In the curtain-raiser starting at 6pm, Beaches will go up against Academy Eagles, in a game that is expected to generate a great deal of excitement. In the feature game at 8p.m. Flamingo FC will go up against SWA Sharks in what is billed as an intriguing contest.

Academy Eagles will be looking to bounce back from their 1-2 loss to the Sharks in their lone game played on Thursday, while the Beaches will be looking to not repeat the hapless bungling against Teachers, after leading 3-0 at halftime but ended up drawing the game 4-4.

The The Teachers Player of the Match was Shekinah Smith

Sharks, the defending champions, will be looking to continue on their good run, coming off of a 2-1 clipping on Thursday, of the Eagles 2-1. Flamingo will no doubt looking to peg back the Sharks and secure a big win.

In the Female version of the league, Academy Eagles and the SWA Sharks ended 2-2, with the Eagles’goals coming from Pekiera Brroks and Amika Jackson. The SWA Sharks goals came from Brianna Jolly and Anika Harry.

In the feature game, Teachers carving out a 2-1 over Cheshire Hall, with the winning goals coming from Fredelyn Brave and Yunelsis Rodriquez. Rodneisha Johnson scored for Cheshire Hall.

The Teachers Player of the Match was Shekinah Smith.
