Shafiqua Maloney finishes 2nd at ISTAF Berlin 2024

Vincentian athlete Shafiqua Maloney continues a fantastic season as she stormed to second place in the women’s 600 metres at ISTAF Berlin 2024.  

Maloney clocked 1:22:98, a Personal Best and National Record. 

Taking to social media, Maloney shared her joy over the result:  

“I participated in the 600m today and it was good to be back at that distance  

I finished with a time of 1:22.98 which was good enough for a few entries in the journal  ” 

Maloney recently competed at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games where she finished in fourth place in the Women’s 800 metres.
