Rotimi, Gramps Morgan, Voice set to perform at WCMF 2024
Dominica Festivals has unveiled the second wave of artistes that will perform at the 2024 World Creole Music Festival (WCMF).
This year’s festival will see a mix of local, regional and international artistes performing genres such as Afro-Beats, Soca, Reggae, Bouyon and Dennery Segment.
At a media conference on Saturday, it was revealed that Nigerian-American singer Rotimi will be making a debut performance at the festival.
He is joined on the cast by Jamaican musical icons Gramps Morgan, Duane Stepheson and Luciano.
Soca stars Skinny Fabulous, Tian Winter and Voice are also set to perform.
Midnight Groovers, Signal Band, the Bouyon Boss Asa Bantan and Ridge and Pudaz were added to the cast of local performers.
This year’s festival already has a packed cast of artistes with the likes of Valliant, Kassav and Nadia Batson set to grace the stage.
The final set of performers will be unveiled on August 17.
The 2024 WCMF will take place from October 25 to 27 at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Rosseau.
