Miss Universe Aruba & Cayman are silver winners in Voice for Change
Caribbean representatives were in the spotlight at the 73rd Miss Universe preliminary competition in Mexico.
Miss Universe Aruba, Anouk Eman and Miss Universe Cayman Islands, Raegan Rutty, were among seven delegates who were announced as silver winners in The Voice for Change competition.
The Voice for Change competition is a global initiative that encourages Miss Universe delegates to create videos about social causes they care about.
Miss Universe Aruba Anouk Eman in her 2024 The Voice for Change video shared her passion about enhancing quality education with inclusion and advocating for neurodivergent children of the world.
Miss Universe Cayman Islands Raegan Rutty in her 2024 The Voice for Change video shone a light on the critical issue of mental health and suicide awareness.
The other silver finalists were Miss Bahrain Shereen Ahmed, Miss Guinea Saran Bah, Miss Thailand Suchata Chuangsri, Miss Finland Mati da Wirtavuori and Miss Eritrea Snit Tewoldemedhin.
The Caribbean region also captured an award through Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago Jenelle Thongs, who was named the winner of the Miss Congeniality award.
The final of the 73rd Miss Universe competition takes place on November 16, 2024.
