Kirani James to compete at 2024 Rome Diamond League

Grenada’s three-time Olympic medallist, Kirani James, is among top athletes set to compete in the Men’s 400 metres at the 2024 Rome Diamond League on Friday.  

James, 31, nicknamed ‘The Jaguar’ is a highly decorated Diamond League champion having won titles in 2023, 2022, 2015 and 2011.  

The Grenadian athlete who recently competed at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, finished in place fifth with a time of 43.87s.  

James enters the Rome Diamond League with a Season Best of 43.78s and a Personal Best of 43.74s.
