Kirani James finishes 2nd at Rome Diamond League
Congratulations are in order for Grenadian athlete Kirani James who finished in second place in the Men’s 400-metres at the 2024 Rome Diamond League.
James, 31, who is a three-time Olympic medallist, ran in Lane 5 where he finished in a time of 44.30s to take second place.
James, nicknamed ‘The Jaguar’ recently competed at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games where he finished in fifth place in 43.87s.
Muzala Samukonga of Zambia won the Diamond League race in a time of 43.99s. Third place was taken by Trinidad and Tobago’s Jereem Richards who clocked 44.55s.
