Grenada: Credit Union extends downtime following cyberattack
Ariza Credit Union which was hit with a cyberattack in Grenada on Sunday has succeeded in reinstating full service, however, it has advised members that it has become necessary to extend its system downtime and branch closure for an additional day for thorough verification.
In a recent update, the Credit Union said during this time the team will focus all efforts on processing payroll and any other applicable funds to members’ accounts.
Ariza Credit Union stated that it is aiming to have limited service available to members starting from Thursday, March 28 beginning with Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs), AIME, and Point of Sale services.
Arrangements are also being made to open all branches on Saturday, March 30 from 9 am to 2 pm.
The Credit Union said it regrets the inconvenience caused and assures members that their deposits remain secure.
