Dominican Rep selects Paulino & Nin as flag bearers for Paris 2024

The Dominican Republic Olympic Committee has announced that Marileidy Paulino and Audrys Nin will be its flag bearers at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games opening ceremony.

Paulino,27, is the reigning World Champion in the 400 metres and she’s also a double Olympic silver medallist in the 400m and 4x400m mixed relay.

Nin is a two-time artistic gymnastics vault champion at the Pan-American Games.

The Dominican Republic will be sending a team of over 50 athletes to the Olympic Games and they will compete in sports such as swimming, track and field, basketball, football and equestrian.

The opening ceremony of Paris 2024 is set to take place on July 26 along the famed Seine River.
