Dominica launches winter campaign to attract North American tourists

The Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) is seeking to woo travellers from the North American market to the Eastern Caribbean Island this winter season with the launch of a new campaign.

Titled “Dominica, Your Winter Getaway – Where Nature and Adventure Await,” the campaign launched yesterday aims to attract couples, families, friends, and retreat groups looking for unique and immersive travel experiences.

DDA said they plan to boost stayover arrivals over the next year and to increase brand visibility in key markets by 2025.

Major selling points in the campaign include the island’s eco-tourism treasures, rich cultural heritage, and its reputation for safety. 

There are various promotions, including “Pay for 4, Stay for 5” and “Pay for 6, Stay for 7.” Furthermore, tour operators and car rental companies are offering discounts between 10 per cent and 20 per cent to entice travellers to select Dominica.

DDA hopes travellers will be inspired to enjoy the island, which is a premier destination for travellers seeking both relaxation and adventure.
