Digicel names Meredith Sharples as GM for Grenada, Dominica & SVG

Meredith Sharples has been appointed as Digicel’s new Regional General Manager for Grenada, Dominica and St Vincent and the Grenadines.

His appointment is effective from March 1.

Sharples brings over 20 years of telecoms expertise to Digicel and he joins the company after leaving his role as a managing partner at Cambridge Management Consulting.

In the new position, Sharples is responsible for Digicel Grenada and he will provide oversight for Digicel Dominica and Digicel St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Roeland Van Der Hoeven, Cluster CEO West Indies Region for Digicel Group, welcomed Sharples to the team.

 “We are truly pleased to welcome Meredith to the team. With his experience, we anticipate great things for Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Dominica. I also want to thank Oscar Arellano for his contributions as interim CEO for Digicel Grenada during the transition period,” he commented in a statement.

Sharples is enthusiastic about joining Digicel and relocating with his family to Grenada. He is looking forward to leveraging his expertise to drive growth and innovation across the region.
