Renegade Mas x Xodus Carnival for CayMAS 2024

Renegade Mas x Xodus Carnival for CayMAS 2024

Jamaica’s premier Carnival band, Xodus Carnival, has joined forces with Renegade Mas as brand partners for an exceptional staging of CayMAS Carnival 2024, slated for June 29.

With this being its third year participating in CayMAS Carnival, Xodus Carnival will once again bring their well-curated carnival experience to the streets of Cayman Islands.

In previous years, Xodus Carnival has participated in CayMAS Carnival as section partners with Renegade Mas, however, the band is now taking an intentional step towards increasing its visibility in carnival regionally.

Pierre Goubault, CEO of Xodus Carnival, is thinking big, with plans for expanding all arms of the Xodus Carnival brand, which includes their in-house design and production team, MasCreate Studios.

‘This decision was taken because we thoroughly enjoy CayMAS Carnival as a carnival and we wanted to expand our relationship with Renegade Mas. Additionally, this is a part of our business goals to expand the Xodus brand in the region.’

‘We will be bringing our signature Xodus Xperience to CayMAS. Renegade Mas has been delivering a great [production] over the years and this year that track record paired with our unique Xodus Xperience will result in a truly exceptional time for all the Renegade Mas x Xodus revellers,’ Goubault gushed.

Meanwhile, in the Cayman Islands, co-owner of Renegade Mas Danielle Watler confirmed that #TeamRenegade is excited about the partnership on several levels.

‘This partnership represents a significant milestone in our growth era, as we join forces with Jamaica’s largest Carnival band to showcase our product as a premier tourism attraction.’

Teaming up with the experienced Xodus [Carnival]’, she says, ‘ensures that this year will be our biggest and best yet.’

Joining Renegade Mas means experiencing an elevated Carnival experience from start to finish, she noted, adding that maintaining a successful track record, while challenging, is doable.

So far they have maintained credibility in raising the bar for ‘exceptional customer service, highly organised events for both locals and visitors, surprise guest artists, and greater international affiliations for road march and events.’

Holding the notoriety as the band in the Cayman Islands when it comes to vibes and music, it’s only natural that Renegade Mas has secured eight beautiful costumes inspired by eight music genres, and promises an unforgettable experience.

Not convinced? Watler shared a virtual launch video (see below), that she reckons ‘speaks for itself’.

Xodus Carnival plans to bring unique offerings to the Cayman Islands for CayMAS Carnival. And they plan to do so in a shorter time frame than that of Jamaica Carnival. To say each market present different challenges is an understatement.

For CayMAS Carnival, the season picks up in February and goes until the of June, with a shorter parade route as well.

‘Despite the differences in the carnival parade, revellers can still expect eye-catching costumes, which we have already launched, lead up fetes and a great road march experience’, Goubault added.

Revellers are welcomed to visit the Renegade Mas website to register and purchase their costumes, so they can revel in the Xodus Xperience at CayMAS Carnival 2024.
