Kittitian Orson Nurse stars on tv show ‘Married at First Sight UK’

St Kitts-born actor/model turned project engineer, Orson Nurse, is the talk of the Caribbean after being featured on UK reality television show ‘Married at First Sight’ on which he tied the knot with Richelle Cade, a businesswoman from the UK with Guyanese roots.  

Orson, 41, and Richelle, 48, were paired on the popular dating show’s Season 9, Episode 5, which aired Tuesday on Channel 4.  

Married at First Sight UK is a bold social experiment where single people are matched by experts and marry a total stranger who they meet for the first time on their wedding day.  

In a video bio shared earlier in September, Orson said his love language is food, and his perfect date is sitting on the beach in St Kitts drinking rum, having nice fish, nice, lobster and watching the sunset.   

In the video Orson said he thinks his parents would love him to be with someone who is very cultured and loves beautiful Black men. He added the reason he was doing the show is because he’s at the age where he needs love and wants to find a beautiful wife who will accept him for who he is.  

Orson, who shared newlywed pictures this week had the following caption: “Still to this day it blows my mind I got married to a complete stranger  ”
