BVI’s Adaejah Hodge reaches 100m final at World U20 Championships

The British Virgin Islands’ Adaejah Hodge is into today’s 100 metre finals of the World Athletics Under-20 Championships in Lima, Peru.

The 18-year-old secured her place after finishing second in the third semi-final.

She clocked a time of 11.59 seconds, which is the ninth fastest time from the semis.

Joining Hodge in the finals are Barbadian Kishawna Niles, who was the fastest qualifier with a time of 11.39 seconds, and Jamaican Alana Reid.

The 100 metre final is scheduled for 7:30pm BVI time.

Adaejah Hodge will compete from lane eight, while Barbadian Kishawna Niles will run from lane four and Jamaican Alana Reid will be in lane six.
