PM praises Vincy medical professionals during Vybz Kartel visit
Jamaican entertainer Vybz Kartel remains busy in St Vincent and the Grenadines as an online post from Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves highlighted him with staff from the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH).
On the Facebook page of Ralph Gonsalves, a picture of Vybz Kartel was shared with the following caption:
“We have an excellent team of medical professionals at MCMH! Always ready to deliver world class services. They have received high commendation from Vybz Kartel and his team after his visits.”
On Monday, the Jamaican Dancehall star had breakfast with Prime Minister Gonsalves as a brief video was shared on his Instagram page.
Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, served 13 years for murder, a conviction that was eventually quashed by the Privy Council, which was followed by the local Court of Appeal ordering that he not be retried in the matter.
The ‘Summer Time’ deejay has reportedly been struggling with a number of health issues, including Graves’ disease and heart challenges.
Local media in SVG recently reported that the Jamaican Dancehall star was looking at three countries to pursue medical care, and one of those countries included St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Since his arrival in SVG over the weekend, Vybz Kartel has been seen working out.
