Grenadian named 2024 OECS Youth in Agriculture Person of the Year
The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) has congratulated Bevon Charles of Grenada who was named the 2024 OECS Youth in Agriculture Person of the Year.
The OECS said her dedication to agriculture makes a regional impact earning her this honour.
Charles, a self-sustainable farmer, is the CEO and founder of Akata Farms.
The OECS Youth in Agriculture (YIA) Symposium, was recently held in Dominica.
The OECS YIA Symposium aims to connect the next generation of agricultural leaders in the region through discussions on innovation, tools, opportunities, and the conditions necessary to shape the future of agriculture.
