Dominica names flag bearers for Paris 2024

Thea LaFond-Gadson and Dennick Luke have been announced as the flag bearers for Dominica at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.

The duo were the country’s flag bearers three years ago at the delayed games in Tokyo, Japan.

It’s no surprise that LaFond-Gadson was chosen to reprise her role as she is a favourite to medal in the women’s triple jump.

Dominica is sending four athletes to the Olympic Games and they will compete in swimming and track and field.

The Olympic Games Opening Ceremony is set to take place on Friday along Paris’ famed Seine River.
