5 Easter activities to do with the family in Grenada

It’s the long Easter weekend and many families will be looking forward to fun activities in Grenada whether it be relaxation on the water, picnics at the beach or kite flying.  

If you’re looking for some outdoor activities, here are five you can enjoy with the family in Grenada for Easter:  

1. Gouyave Easter Regatta  

A very popular annual event at L’anse Beach, the Gouyave Easter Regatta features thrilling competitions including sailing, engine boat race, greasy pole challenge, swimming races and more. 

2. Easter Bazaar at True Blue Bay Boutique  

At this event you can support local vendors, indulge in some shopping and let the kids participate in an Easter egg hunt.  

3. Grenada Motor Club Easter Extravaganza 

Whenever Easter comes around, this popular event is one that comes to mind especially if you have teenagers interested in watching drift shows.  

4. Megaforce Promotions Easter Kids Extravaganza 

Definitely one for the entire family, this event at Morne Rouge Playing Field will feature many fun activities such as horseback riding, slides, bouncy castle as well as a talent competition.  

5. Northern Development Action Committee Annual Easter Sunday Kite Flying competition 

If you’re on Grenada’s sister island of Carriacou, and a kite flying enthusiast, you can head on over to this family event which will be held at the Dover Government School Grounds.
